She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Murray and Blossom Murray (McCulloch); her husband Ronald Veik; and her brothers, Ben and Larry.
She is survived by: her children, Tawnya Spies (David) of Greeley and Kevin Harvey (Stephanie) of Grand Junction; and her grandchildren, Nicole Spencer (Mark) of North Carolina, David Spies (Julie) of Rifle, Tanner Harvey (Emily) of Indiana, Claudia Ellis (TJ) of Indiana, Tylor Weston (Kristina) of Craig and Elise Rucker (Lewis) of Grand Junction. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
After her retirement, she was a volunteer with RSVP at the Nunn Senior center.
