He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph De Loss and Leona May Smalley (La Montine); and his sister Josephine Smalley. He is survived by: his daughter Danielle Starr of Kansas, Oklahoma; his grandsons, Joseph and Mason; his brother Jimmie Smalley (Carol) of Pueblo; his niece Carrie Caster of Highlands Ranch; and the mother of his child Pam Padilla.
