We announce the death of Catherine Garcia of Greeley, Colorado, who passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 88. Catherine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Catherine will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Catherine’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Enoch Lorenzi and Nieves Lorenzi; and her husband Henry Garcia. She is survived by: her children, Vincent (Kelly), John, Brian (Fiona) and Kindra (Daniel). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Louis Catholic Church (902 Grant Ave, Louisville, CO 80027). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Elks Lodge 525 (525 Main St, Louisville, CO 80027).
