She was predeceased by: her father Edward P. Holmes; her brother Ronald Holmes; and her mother Erma Holmes. She is survived by: her husband William Burton George; her children, William Edward George (Billy) and DeAnn George; her granddaughter Madeline Ilgen; and her grandchild-in-law Heide Hillmann.
The family also asks that instead of sending flowers, to make a donation to First Congregational Church of Christ as a way to honor Deanna. Honor Deanna Holmes's memory by donating to a cause they cared about.
