It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Casper Hergenreter (Greeley, Colorado), born in Sterling, Colorado, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melgar Hergenreter and Florence Hergenreter; his in-laws, Alfread and Vera Cox; and his brothers-in-law, Danny Cox and Jake Rudiger.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Ryan, Zakkary, Morgan (Evan) and Raymond; his great grandchildren, Judson, Willow and Jentrie; his wife Susan M. Cox of Greeley; his sons, Troy (Bobbi) of Hudson and Ryan of Evans; his sisters, Carol (Mike) of Fort Worth, TX, Pam Rudiger of Greeley and Melinda Kapp of Evans; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Cox of Berthoud, Kathy Lorenzini (Larry) of Weldona and Colleen Gilliland (Marshall) of Wiggins. He is also survived by his grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Adamson's Funeral Home (2000 47th Ave, Greeley, CO 80634). A reception will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
