He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter J. Rutt Jr. and Mary Schoen Rutt; and his siblings, Alice Applegate, Shirley Rosenbrock and Peter J Rutt III.

He is survived by: his wife Norma (Pugs); his children, Veronica Rutt (Roni), Jeannie Rutt Boltz and Eddie Rutt Jr.; and his grandchildren, Dustin Rutt, Desirae Lowe and Ethan Boltz.
