He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Hernandez Esquibel and Maria Acencion Lucio Velasquez; and his sister Pabla Hernandez-Duran. He is survived by: his children, Gerardo Hernandez Palacios (Chelsie), Monerrat Guadalupe Hernandez-Palacios and Favio Leonardo Hernandez-Palacios; and his granddaughter Aitana Ortiz-Hernandez. He is also survived by his children and siblings.
