He was predeceased by : his father Robert Louis Cassons; his grandparents, Nellie Elizabeth Carter (Lane), Thomas Clarence Carter, Edna Elizabeth Cassons (Swain) and Edwin Cassons; and his granddaughter Berklee Paiz.

He is survived by : his wife Diana Cassons; his daughters, Chelsea Paiz (Paul) and Brandi Griffin; his siblings, Greg Cassons, Jane Perry Cassons (Rick) and Tennille Cassons; and his grandson Kendrick Paiz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
