She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jorgen Kolberg and Gertrude Kolberg (Dykstra); her husband Hank Markus; her daughters, Kristin Markus (Tim Smith), Heidi Markus and Karla Overturf (Eric Overturf); her grandchildren, Charles Byrne (Lily Shang), Jay Byrne (Caitlin Babbitt), Madeleine Stephens (Robert Stephens) and Annelise Overturf; and her great grandchild Lukas Byrne. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Karen would be thrilled if you volunteered or donated to RSVP, Weld Food Bank or any organization where you are in service to others..
