It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucy Cathy Padilla (Greeley, Colorado), who passed away on May 12, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brothers, Rudy Preciado, Jimmy Preciado and Joe Preciado. She is survived by: her children, George Padilla Jr. (Lorie), Joe Padilla (Liz), Michelle Lujan, Debbie Preciado (Troy) and Kevin Padilla; her siblings, Margo Preciado, Ray Preciado, Terry Rizo (Manuel), Lee Bargas (Patty) and Carmen Archibeque; her former husband George Padilla Sr.; her sisters, Josie Sanchez, MaryAnne Flores, Rosemary Perez and Angie Preciado; and her grandsons, Anthony Padilla and David Lujan. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
