He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Zimmerman and Lillie Zimmerman (Barnes Thomas); his wife Charlene Hicks; and his siblings, George Thomas, Roy Thomas, Ralph Thomas, Dowell Thomas, Izetta Schlotthauer, Evelyn Perterson, Alma Campbell and Letha Raehal.
He is survived by: his children, Rena Christian (Robert) of South Jordan, Gordon Alan Zimmerman of Centennial, CO and Gary Zimmerman (Lennie Sisson) of Mead, CO; his grandchildren, Kimberly Christian of Riverton, Brandon Christian of West Jordan, Kayla Christian VandenBoomen (Rick) of Sandy, John Groves of Mead, CO and Chloe Sisson of Mead, CO; and his great grandchildren, Rylee, Addyson and Olivia Christian of Riverton, Utah..
