She was predeceased by: her parents, John Peterson and Gladys Peterson (Vaughn); her husband Louis Smith; her daughter Angel Ash; and her siblings, Geneva Radcliff and Curtis Peterson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Georgia Hand (Ken) and Glenda Peterson; and her grandchildren, Allison Ash, James Peterson, John Peterson V and Jacob Peterson. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
