He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Dallas Nix and May Nix; his siblings, Jimmy Nix and Shelby Thimming; and his grandson Adam Richardson.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Nix; his children, Clifford Nix (Angela) of Fort Collins, CO, Cathy Dachel (Mike) of Arvada, CO, Scott Nix (Amanda) of Milliken, CO and Adam Herning (Shannon) of Fort Collins, CO; his grandchildren, Presley Golden of Cheyenne, WY, Morgan Nix of Fort Collins, CO, Makenzi Schamel, Austin Dachel of Fort Collins, Cody Richardson (Michaela) of Greeley, CO, Ray Windedahl of Loveland, CO, Dallas Nix and Randy Nix; his great grandchildren, Lexi and Stephen; and his brothers, Donald Nix Jr. and Wade Nix.
