Though Roberta has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bixby and Bernice Bixby (Kirkhart); her husband Merle Worden; and her sister Jeannie. She is survived by: her sons, Daniel (Stephanie), Douglas (Vanessa), David (Penny) and Darin (Jennifer); her brother David Bixby (Lynn); and her sister-in-law Melody Bush (Jim). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (1000 N 15 St, Burlington, CO 80807).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kit Carson County Pink Chaps Fund or the Burlington Fire Department.
