He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Otto and Antoinette Otto (Feelhaver); his siblings, Richard Otto and Elaine Walter; his in-laws, Sam and Hazel Reichert; and his son-in-law Gordon Harvey.

He is survived by: his wife Arlene Otto; his children, Amy Harvey and Mike Otto (Jill); his grandchildren, Mallory Choate, Mic Otto, Austin Harvey, Robbie Otto, Margaret Miller and Emery Otto; his great grandchildren, Warren, Gracie, Talia, Elise, Easton, Maxwell and Matthew; and his sister Linda Otto. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
