It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Mae Walker Nelson of Greeley, Colorado, born in Fort Morgan, Colorado, who passed away on February 26, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Weitzel and Elizabeth Weitzel (Schlitt); her husbands, Leonard Walker and John Nelson; her son Henry Walker; and her siblings, Donald, Glen, Harold, Raymond, Melvin, Helen Weitzel, Hannah Madsen and Margaret Olin.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Wright (Hal Kappius) of Greeley, Susan Rose of Tulsa, OK, Thomas Walker (Susan) of Greeley and Michael Walker (Susan) of Greeley. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
