She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard J. Malumphy and Katherine Dorsey Malumphy (Dorsey); her brother Richard "Jim" Malumphy; and her sister-in-law Corinne Malumphy. She is survived by: her friend Nancy Van Anne; and her nieces and nephews, Carol Broderick, Lisa Buchinski, Dorsey Hydon, Gerald Coppola, Craig Coppola and Bernard Malumphy.

She was an Associate of the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, supporting its core values of freedom, education, charity and justice.
