With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Junior Newton of Gunnison, Colorado, born in Leadville, Colorado, who passed away on January 24, 2023 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph Junior Newton to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Frank Newton and Zelma Newton; and his sisters, Betty Jo Burns, Myrna Austin and Lois Mudgett.

He is survived by : his children, Corey Randall Newton (Beverly) of Dallas and JaVona Annett Wilcox (Ed) of Grand Junction, Colorado.; his wife Gaye LaVon Huston of Delta; and his siblings, Leslie Irish of Denver, CO and Kenneth Dean Newton of Boulder City, Nevada.. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
