He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverand Russell and Willie Marion Rothgeb Hurst; his former wife Ruth Weller; and his daughter Wanda. He is survived by: his sisters, Dorothy and Marion; his children, Ray Jr., Scott, Billy, Robert and Carol; his wife Marlene Moore Solis; his grandchildren, Rebecca Rothgeb, Rachel Rothgeb, Robert Rothgeb Jr., Renee Rothgeb, Joshua Pahl and Mary Sergent; his stepchildren, Pam, Craig Addington, John, Chris Solis, Jaime Solis, Wendy Murphy, Connie and Kenny Means; and his close friend Jim.
