She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack McDonald and Christine McDonald (Schmidt). She is survived by: her husband Terry Weaver; her daughter Colleen of Haxtun; her sister Barbara Hume of Boise, Idaho; and her sister-in-law Linda Webb (Darren) of Cheyenne, WY. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in her memory to the Haxtun High School scholarship fund, or to a memorial fund for the construction of a community bench.
