It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Edward Brazelton of Hayden, Colorado, who passed away on February 5, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Eva Brazelton (Barnacascel); his wife Barb; his daughter-in-law Anita Brazelton; his brother Jerry Brazelton; and his grandson Daniel.
He is survived by: his father James "Walt" Brazelton; his children, Connie Hawn (George) of Hayden, Jesse Dean Brazelton of Craig, Penny Arnett (Eddie) of Tyler, Texas, Brenda Brazelton of Hayden, Michael Brazelton (Melanie) of Hayden and Mary Lynn Lewin (Rod) of Bayfield, CO; and his brother Michael Brazelton (Jolene Cormier) of Nova Scotia, Canada.. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Jim's memory to the Hayden Booster Club or Northwest Colorado Health & Hospice, in care of Grant Mortuary.
