The memory of Richard H. Larson of Henderson, Colorado, who passed away on July 29, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Larson and Mary Larson; his wife Juanita "Toots" Kaus; his son Mark; and his siblings, Rosemary and Arthur.
He is survived by: his children, Richard E. (Denise), James (Melanie), Teresa Krieger (Michael), Monica Domenico (Victor) and Katrina Cassady (Tim); and his grandchildren, Stephanie (Scott), Kyle (Jessica), Becky, Kevin (Raylene), Sam (Kaitlyn), Tyler (Ashley), Kristina, Kalina, Frances (Jonathan), Harlan, Luke, Kailey, Claudia (Brandon), Kolten, Bernadette, Marina, Mackenzie, Paolo, Benjamin, Lauren, Nathan and Joel. He is also survived by 14 great- grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation - North Metro/Thornton (9998 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229). A rosary will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (2361 E 78th Ave, Denver, CO 80229). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery (12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033). A reception will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 1946 E 66th Ave, Denver, CO 80229.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Assumption Church.
