He is survived by : his wife Joan Kay Freese of Highlands Ranch, CO; his children, Curt Morgan of Highlands Ranch, CO and Merridy Jensen (Kenny) of Castle Pines, CO; his grandson Ty Jensen of Denver, CO; his child Ally Jensen of Lone Tree, CO; his sister Connie Flakus of Aberdeen, SD; his sister-in-law Janice Wauben of Burlington, NC; and his nieces and nephews, Carrie Johnson (Marty) of Ft. Pierre, SD, Mandy Rezatto (Brett) of Aberdeen, SD, Devara Schafer (Kory) of Albion, NE, Julie Langan (Dave) of Albion, NE, Jeni Bogenrief of Seward, NE, Michelle McIntire of Pleasant Hill, IA, Jackie Swift-Kurkjian of Sarasota, FL, Mike Flakus (Karen) of Sioux Falls, SD, Sam Flakus (Shana) of Gregory, SD, Zach Flakus (Amy) of Aberdeen, SD, Doug Morgan (Debbie) of Albion, NE and Jody Morgan (Michelle) of Cincinnati, OH. He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, many cousins, other relatives and many friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery.

He also began making walking sticks which he donated to the park to sell in their gift shop.
