With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellen Barboza of Holly, Colorado, born in Gurley, Nebraska, who passed away on April 1, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Ellen is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Henry and Irene Henry (Rivas); and her siblings, Richard Henry and Isabell Meier. She is survived by: her husband Miguel Barboza; her children, Eva Hernandez, Angela Vondy, Joe Castillo and Brenda Abernathy; and her siblings, Teresa Gingles, Jesse Henry and Nick Henry. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren, many other relatives and a host of friends.
