Leonard D. Shaw Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Leonard D. Shaw (Hotchkiss, Colorado) is shared. Leonard, born on August 8, 1939, passed away on September 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Leonard will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Leonard by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Leonard is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Leonard’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wendell Shaw and Loeta Shaw (Busby); and his brother William "Bill" Shaw. He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Mae Crist; and his children, Pam Klaseen (Bryan), Diane Curry (Steve) and Larry Shaw (Desi). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the North Fork High School (438 Miner Wy, Hotchkiss, CO 81419).
The family requests that any memorials be made to a charity of the givers choice in lieu of flowers.
