He is survived by: his children, Casey and Stevi Fitzgerald-Smith; his grandchildren, Brielle, Vivienne and Wynn of Parker, CO; his children, Paige and Vedran Kaluderovic; his grandchildren, Meri and Clara of Redondo Beach, CA; his former wife Erin Fitzgerald; his sisters, Donna Forsyth (Neal) and Joan Wager (William); and his friend Mary Sauser.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Humane Colorado.
