He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Maestas (Rivera) and Arturo Maestas; his sister Flora Romero; and his brother-in-law Paul Warren. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Maestas (Johnson) of Nick's Tavern; his siblings, Art Maestas, Ivan Maestas (Paula), Cecelia Warren, Eufemia Ornales (Albert), Beunellah Maestas and Pauline Flori (Bob); and his brother-in-law Benny Romero. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
A rosary will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Howe Mortuary (439 Coffman St, Longmont, CO 80501). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (3791 Pike Rd, Longmont, CO 80503). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lyons Cemetery (968 Cemetry Cir, Lyons, CO 80540). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 20th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Moose Lodge 2200 (2200 Pratt St, Longmont, CO 80501).
