He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hughes and Nelle Hughes (Kernan); and his siblings, Joe, Bob, Gerald, Harold, Kathryn, Ruth, Betty and Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Lynnelle, Beth (Gary Cole), Karen (Claude Berreckman), Joan (Mike Hansen) and Carolyn (Ted Fogarty); and his stepchildren, Gregory (Emily), Ryan (Emily) and Kristin (Kendall Kroeger). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in Bill's memory for later designation.
