He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Babb and Florence Babb (Whaley); his children, Debbie Canaday (John) and Rick Babb; his grandson Darrian Adame; and his siblings, Ellen Babb-Densmore, Barbara Babb-Nordyke and Rudy Babb.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Babb; his son Randy Babb (Carrie) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his sister Nancy Snell of Canyon City, Colorado; and his stepchildren, Mitch Aguilera (Summer) of Richmond, Virginia, Jo Lynn Rife (Rick) of Denver, Greg Adame (Hilda) of Lamar, Alzado Adame (Angela) of Colorado Springs and Haven Adame (Melissa) of Denver, Colorado.. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peacock Memorial Chapel (401 Raton Ave, La Junta, CO 81050). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Church of the Nazarene of La Junta (1111 W 10th St, La Junta, CO 81050).
