He was predeceased by: his parents, Guerreros Lopez Sierra and Maria Lopez Sierra (Vasquez); his daughter Sylvia Lopez; his brothers, Ramon Lopez and Jose "Lelo" G. Lopez; and his daughter-in-law Salena Lopez.
He is survived by: his wife Juliana Lopez; his children, Mario Lopez, Sergio Lopez (Josie) and Sandra Lopez (Aaron Torres); his grandchildren, Jonathon Torres, Gavin Lopez (Trevor), McKinnon, Angelica Burroughs (Jared), Miguel Colon, Shari Colon, Tomas Palacio, Donaven Palacio, Mike Palacio and Niko Flores; his great grandchildren, Declan Beau Burroughs and Peyton Skye Burrough; his siblings, Enrique Lopez (Lupe), Irma Lopez (Carlos), Guadalupe Lopez (Javier), Rosa Hermosillo, Augustine Lopez (Elaine), Raul Lopez, Maria Delores Hermosillo and Jorge Lopez (Sonya); and his sisters-in-law, Cordilia Lopez and Elsa Lopez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Perez & Peacock Funeral Home (401 Raton Ave, La Junta, CO 81050). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM and from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM. A Mass was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Parish (518 W 3rd St, La Junta, CO 81050).
