She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonia Moreno and Jose Moreno; her husband Ernesto "Ernie" Aragon; her daughter-in-law Carol Aragon; her great grandchild Jaycee Balicki; and her siblings, Dennis, Victor, Richard, James Moreno, Dora Aceves and Antonia "Toni" Whatley.
She is survived by: her children, Carla Valdez of La Junta, Carlos Aragon Sr. of La Junta, Mark Aragon Sr. of La Junta and Keith Aragon (Toni) of Ft. Collins, Colorado; and her siblings, Joe "Jay" Moreno (Mary Lou), Rey Moreno (Terri), Mary Esther Gonzales (Jose), Jolene Hyatt (Dan) and Tom Moreno. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and god children.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peacock Memorial Chapel (401 Raton Ave, La Junta, CO 81050). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe/ St. Patrick Parish Church (202 Lincoln Ave, La Junta, CO 81050). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
