He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gruber and Edna Gruber; his sister Erma Burton (Reid); and his former wife Norma Lu Davis. He is survived by: his wife Donna Gruber; his children, Joy Jones (Dave), John and Jay; his stepchildren, Dexter Buck, Le Ila McCleary and Lonye Buck; his grandchildren, Levi, Laramie, Lucas Gruber, Melody Gruber, Elvis, Chris, Nic Cunningham, Kellie Davis Hall and DJ McCleary; and his great grandchildren, Atticus, Baron Cunningham, Riley Cunningham, Eli, Adi McCleary, Josh and Rachel Hall.
