She was predeceased by: her parents, Eiroku Ashida and Toki Ashida (Yuto); her husband Kiyoshi Kay Shioshita; her daughter Candice Kay Shioshita; her siblings, Hideo, Nobe, George, Tom, Sam, James, Lucky, Kazu Ashida, Mary Ashida and Rose Wilson; her parents-in-law, Seichiro "George" and Yei Shioshita; and her siblings-in-law, Jack Wilson, Ken Shioshita, Den Shioshita, Ted Shioshita, John Kondo, Amy Ashida (Hideo), Kathleen Ashida (Nobe), Lila Ashida (Sam), Tay Kondo (John) and Jane Shioshita (Ted).
She is survived by: her children, Barry Shioshita (Lynn) and Robin Shioshita; her grandchildren, Josh Shioshita (Aubrey), Jordan Shioshita (Shyla), Jarett Shioshita, Connor Shioshita Pickett and Cailin Shioshita Pickett; her great grandchild Naomi Lynn Shioshita; her siblings, Judy Chamberlin (Joe) and Henry Ashida; and her sister-in-law Helen Ashida. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peacock Memorial Chapel (109 E. 4th Street, La Junta, CO 81050).
