We announce the death of Lee Jaramillo of La Junta, Colorado, who passed away on October 5, 2026, at the age of 69. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emillio Jaramillo and Josie Jaramillo (Sandoval); his brothers, Alex Jaramillo, Jacob Jaramillo, Raymond Jaramillo and Emillio Jaramillo, Jr.; and his sister-in-law Rose Jaramillo.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Torrez; his children, Tony Torrez and Crystal Torrez; his grandchildren, Qiana Torrez, Marcus Torrez, Savannah Rael, Nicole Whatley and Anthony Torrez; his great grandchildren, Marcus Torrez, Jr. and Jaxson Torrez; and his siblings, Merlinda Jaramillo, Larry Jaramillo, Nick Jaramillo, Felix Jaramillo, Frankie Jaramillo and Alfonso Jaramillo. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peacock Memorial Chapel (401 Raton Ave, La Junta, CO 81050).
