She was predeceased by : her parents, Bernardino Castro and Piedad Castro (Araiza); her husband Andres Salazar; and her children, Mercy Cardenas, Rachel Salazar and Frederico Salvador.
She is survived by : her children, Mike Salazar (Debbie) of Hayward, CA, Fernando Salazar (Deborah) of La Junta, Angelina Salazar of La Junta, Bertha Salazar of La Junta and Felipe Salazar (Amy) of La Junta; and her son-in-law Cecilio Cardenas. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; two great, great-grandchildren; one nephew.
