She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Piatt, Sr. (Cauthon) and Fred Sr. Piatt; her husband Donald R. "Pete" Evett; her son Jerry Evett; and her siblings, Fred Piatt, Jr., Willy Piatt, Vernon Piatt (Barbara), Evelyn Haling and Lois Enderud.
She is survived by: her children, Gailen Evett (Tammy) of La Junta, CO, Debra Pointon of Denton, TX and Deora Burns of Cedar Falls, TX; and her siblings-in-law, Margie Piatt, Lena Piatt and Glen Enderud. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
