Maxine Adcock Obituary

With solemn reverence, we commemorate Maxine Adcock (La Junta, Colorado), whose life came to an end on August 10, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, James McCuistion and Nellie McCuistion; her in-law Helen Adcock; her siblings, Willis McCuistion, Marie Tilson and Jean Petrie; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Pointer, Tom Marvin, Bill Tilson, Roby Baker, Chet Petrie and Don Rogge.

She is survived by: her husband Larry Adcock; her children, Gregg Adcock (Jefferi) of Manvel Texas and Lynette Masters (Roger) of Rye, Colorado; her grandchildren, Jacob Barr (Thien) of Norfolk, VA, Wesley Barr (Bethany) of Fountaintown, IN, Melissa England (Chris) of Swink, CO and Tori Schlueter of Manvel, TX; her great grandchildren, Greyson and Oaklee Barr; her sisters, Dorothy Baker of Fowler, CO and Verena Rogge of Littleton, CO; and her sisters-in-law, Marybeth McCuistion and Fran McCuistion. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Junta United Methodist Church (601 San Juan Ave, La Junta, CO 81050).
