May Elizabeth Danko Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of May Elizabeth Danko of La Junta, Colorado, who passed away on October 22, 2025 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of May Elizabeth Danko to pay them a last tribute.

In the sacred silence of farewell, May is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ketrow and Luella Ketrow (Moore); her son George Jr.; her husband Peter Danko, Sr.; her son Jack Fazekas; and her daughter-in-law Jane Danko.

She is survived by: her children, Peter Danko, Jr. (Debbie), Karen Menges (Terry), Gayle Eveatt (Kenneth) and Joseph Danko. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Arkansas Valley Hospice or to a charity of choice.
