He was predeceased by : his parents, George Danko and Anna Danko (Cherefka); his former life partner Dorothy "Sissy" Vogt-Danko; his stepsons, George and Jack Fazekas; and his daughter-in-law Jane Danko.

He is survived by : his wife May Elizabeth Danko; and his children, Peter Danko, Jr. (Debbie), Karen Menges, Sr. (Terry), Gayle Eveatt (Kenneth) and Joe Danko. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and three great, great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Arkansas Valley Hospice or to a charity of choice.
