We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2024, at the age of 82, Rita C. Abeyta (La Junta, Colorado) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Benjamin Abeyta and Delfina Quintana; and her sister Susie Pantoya. She is survived by : her children, Kathy Garcia of Colorado Springs, Greg Garcia of New Mexico, Arleen Runion (Pat) of Kansas, Al Garcia Sr. of La Junta and Fabian Garcia of Rocky Ford; and her grandchildren, Vince Garcia (Yvonne Herrera), La Junta, George Tapia and Al Garcia Jr.. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, friends.
