With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roanald G. Cornelius of La Junta, Colorado, born in Raton, New Mexico, who passed away on April 13, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Gerbing H Cornelius and Elsie M Robinson; and his brother Charles "Lynn" Cornelius. He is survived by : his daughter Kimberly Martinez (Louis); his grandchildren, McKinsey, Nate and Brodey; his son Rob Cornelius (Tommy); his grandchildren, Brad and Cam; his son Shane Moore (Angela); and his grandchildren, Maison, Grady and Joplin. He is also survived by his family, friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Valley Trading Post Event Center (23056 US-350, La Junta, CO 81050).
