He was predeceased by : his parents, Virginia Berg and Robert D. W. Berg. He is survived by : his wife Susan Berg of La Junta; his children, Daniel Berg (Audrey Dehdouh) of La Junta, Patrick Berg (Lauren) of La Junta and Rachael Berg of La Junta; his grandchildren, Isabelle of La Junta, Constance of La Junta, Eloise of La Junta, Austyn of La Junta, Leila of La Junta and Merik Berg of La Junta; and his siblings, Steve Berg (Mary) of La Junta, Janet Berg of Colorado Springs and Darilyn Berg (Alan Dale) of La Junta.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the JuntaFirst Church of the Nazarene (1111 W 10th St, La Junta, CO 81050).
