He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl C. Gearhart and Shirley M. Gearhart (Wilkus); and his son Jeremiah Gearhart. He is survived by : his wife Sally Gearhart (Minck); his son David Gearhart (La Junta); and his siblings, Rodney Gearhart (Carolyn), La Junta, Vince Gearhart (La Nette), Stan Gearhart and Cyndi Bersagel (Paul).
