John McCarthy Obituary

We bid farewell to John McCarthy of La Salle, Colorado, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 5, 2024 at the age of 93. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John McCarthy and Loula McCarthy (Briscoe); his wife Betty Jean Rohn; his grandparents, John and Margaret (Shovlin); his children, Sharon Sterling and Mick McCarthy; his brother Hugh Edward McCarthy; and his uncle Hugh Edward McCarthy.

He is survived by: his children, Debbie Gaskill (Randy), James McCarthy (Jodi) and Tom McCarthy (Jill); his sister Emma Lou Closs (Carl); his grandchildren, Jonathan McCarthy (Robin Rice), Heather McCarthy, Raelene Lundin (John) and Kourtney McCarthy (Brad Hartman); and his great grandchildren, Madison Lundin and Claire Lundin.
