He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Manuelita Martinez; his granddaughter Abigail Sanchez; his parents, Profrio Aguirre and Onofre Aguirre; and his brothers, Mike Aguirre, Toby Aguirre and Dave Aguirre.
He is survived by: his children, Ray Gabriel Aguirre (Gerry), Mary M Aguirre, Moses Aguirre, Donaciana Aguirre, Frances Aguirre and Floyd Arthur Aguirre (Bertha); and his sister Rose Montoya (Gilbert). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and also a couple great great grandchildren.
