We announce the death of Barre Marc Sakol (Lafayette, Colorado), who passed away on August 9, 2026. Barre will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Barre will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Barre will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Barre’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He is survived by: his wife Amy; his siblings, Jerry Sakol (Heidi), Cary Sakol (Nancy) and Teri Mina (Alan); and his goddaughter Megan Rardin (Michael). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
