Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Doris Marie Niesen of Lafayette, Colorado, who passed away at the age of 92, on January 18, 2022. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Herman Ludwig and Bertha Ludwig; her husband Edward Niesen; her children, Gregory and Linda Walseth; her son-in-law Joseph; her son Ronald; and her grandson Patrick Walseth.

“We moved into the neighborhood in 2021 as did a couple of other neighbors. In the summer Doris and Greg hosted a welcome to the neighborhood get together. I thought it was such a kind and friendly thing to do. I knew then that Doris was a special person and we are sorry to lose her from our neighborhood. I am sure her family appreciated her and I want them to know that we may not have known her well but we will always appreciate her kindness. Barb and Mike Murray”
