He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Lorenz (Wulf) and Elmer Lorenz; Joan Lorenz. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Lorenz; his siblings, David Lorenz of Jacksonville and Barbara Geuy (John) of Buhler, Kansas; his daughters, Eden Keefe (Brad) of Overland Park and Elise Cleary (James Patrick) of Cheney, Kansas; his grandchildren, Alli Bauck (Jason), Adam Keefe (Cynthia), Noah Cleary and Cameron Cleary (Patricia); and his great grandchildren, William Bauck, Levi Bauck and Samuel Bauck.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wulf-Ast Mortuary (911 Biermann St, Garden Plain, KS 67050). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (639 N Lincoln St, Cheney, KS 67025).
