She was predeceased by: her parents, Curt Wengler and Hildegard Wengler. She is survived by: her husband Manfred (Manny); her brother Ralph Wengler; her children, Bruce Waldheim (RaeAn) and Karen Wilson; her grandchildren, Kyle, Tyler Roatcap, Jamie Cantrall, Tony Waldheim and Kate Hann (Kevin); and her great grandchild Dean Hann.
In remembrance of Joan's spirited life, the family suggests either flowers or donations to the Alzheimer's Association in her name, in lieu of flowers.
