He was predeceased by: his brothers, Neil and Leon Buchberger. He is survived by: his parents, Claude Buchberger and Margaret Buchberger of Marathon, WI; his wife Jessica Buchberger of Lakewood, CO; and his daughter Arabella Buchberger of Lakewood, CO.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Lyle's name. A portion of the memorial fund will go to help orphans in the Ternopil region of Ukraine.
